“I don't want to build a weekend where guests arrive and I tell them how to rest correctly. I want to build one where I've done enough thinking beforehand that guests don't have to, and then mix in a few unexpected moments.” ~Colleen Finnegan

For more than 20 years, my work has involved thinking ahead—managing details, anticipating what organizations will need, and directing people and teams to perform according to standards established by others. In my downtime, I've enjoyed (and still do) programmed retreats, all inclusive resorts and associated activities, and cruises with excursions.
But lately I have become curious about a different kind of retreating, the kind where people aren't directed toward predetermined outcomes. What would happen if someone (me) took care of the details and thoughtfully curated interesting micro-possibilities, but then stopped short of deciding what the experience was supposed to become?
That's the idea behind Lantern Tree Moments.
The experience doesn't need an outcome. It just needs room to be yours.
I'm building the first Lantern Tree Moments retreat now...
